  • Diarrhea – Three consecutive bowel movements that do not sit above the bedding.
  • Fever – Any equid older than 6 months of age with a rectal temperature >101.5F regardless of NSAID use. Any equid between 30 days & 6 months of age with a rectal temperature >102F regardless of NSAID use.
  • Neutropenia – Any animal that has a neutrophil count < 2000cells/µl.
